People Solutions is seeking a Class 1 Driver for weekend and ad-hoc work in the Lutterworth area.
The position offers hourly pay rates of £19.00 on Saturdays and £19.50 on Sundays.
Candidates must have a minimum of twelve months experience driving Class 1/CE vehicles and hold a valid UK Category Class 1/CE Driving Licence.

HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER WEEKENDS / ADHOC WORK

Shift: SATURDAY & SUNDAY'S – Early AM Starts 01:00-03:00 & PM Starts 12:00 – 19:00

£19.00 - £19.50 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in the Lutterworth area.

Rates of Pay:

Saturday: £19.00 per hour
Sunday: £19.50 per hour

Day to Day Duties:

Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not limited to:

Trunking depot to depot.
Supplier collections as required.
Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
Adhere to traffic laws and regulations

Essential Skills:

As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:

Hold a valid UK Category Class 1 / CE Driving Licence
Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving Cass 1 / CE vehicles
No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
Must be able to speak and read a good level of English

Desirable Experience:

Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial

Training

Inducted on first shift
Industry related training provided along with ongoing support throughout
