Sales Support Administrator Summary:
As a Sales Support Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the sales team by managing customer data, analysing product category opportunities, and ensuring smooth and efficient administrative processes. Your strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work across departments will contribute to account profitability and customer satisfaction.
Sales Support Administrator Responsibilities:
- Identify product development gaps and support category development across sales teams
- Manage customer files and pricing strategy with accuracy
- Work effectively with large data sets using Excel
- Maintain and update CRM systems with key sales performance and target market data
- Maximise sales through accurate administration (order processing, coding, marketing support)
- Suggest improvements to processes and practices to benefit both client and customers
- Communicate daily with sales teams and provide general admin support
- Ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures
- Support colleagues proactively and accept feedback openly
- Contribute to achieving both team and individual targets
- Maintain a high level of customer service and industry awareness
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to stay aligned with trends and changes
- Build strong inter-departmental relationships and understand operational procedures
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and adaptability across all levels of staff
Sales Support Administrator Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience working in a sales support or administrative role
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to manage and analyse large datasets
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Customer-focused mindset with a drive for improvement
