Town Planner
Location: Lutterworth, Warwickshire
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a fast growing and innovative property development and education business, in their search for a Town Planner to join their expanding team in Lutterworth.

The Role
As a Town Planner, you will support and manage planning work across a varied portfolio of live development projects in a fast paced, commercial environment. This role offers excellent exposure to development led planning and clear opportunities for progression within a growing business.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and submitting planning applications and pre-application enquiries
Undertaking site appraisals and development feasibility assessments
Reviewing and analysing local and national planning policy
Drafting planning statements and supporting planning documentation
Liaising with local planning authorities, consultants, and internal project teams
Supporting land promotion activity and planning strategy work
Maintaining accurate and well-organised project records
Candidate Requirements
Degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning, Urban Planning, Geography, or a related discipline
RTPI-accredited qualification preferred; working towards or holding RTPI membership
Experience within a planning consultancy, local authority, or development environment
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to interpret planning policy, drawings, and technical information
Organised, proactive, and keen to develop within a growing business
