SEN Teaching Assistant (Primary)Full Time, Permanent, Term time only£22,500 to £23,500 (actual salary)To start ASAPWoodfield School, part of Henry David Learning Trust, is an innovative and exciting independent special school, supporting children and young people with Autism and associated speech & language, social communication and behavioural difficulties, aged 7 to 19.We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our community and take on the role of SEN Teaching Assistant on a full time, permanent basis. Experience working within SEN, SEMH or speech and language would be highly advantageous.The appointed candidate will predominantly work with our secondary aged children with key responsibilities to include creating a learning culture & experience for pupils who find it a challenge to engage with a full programme of onsite learning, and to work with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis to reengage them with onsite learning. You will also work closely with the SENCo and Curriculum Deputy on targeting and agreeing a programme of support and intervention for students, off and onsite.
