Position: Fabricator / Welder
Location: Caithness area (North Scotland)
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, Day Shift)
About the Role:
We're currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Fabricator/Welder to join a well-established engineering company based in the Caithness area. Key Responsibilities:
Carry out fabrication and welding duties as directed by workshop supervision
Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
Produce high-quality work within given deadlines
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment
Conduct pre-use checks on tools and machinery, reporting any faults
Ensure all work complies with company Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards
Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience using a range of fabrication and welding equipment
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Good understanding of relevant welding codes and fabrication practices
Experience with GMAW (MIG/MAG) welding processes preferred
Proactive, safety-conscious, and quality-focused attitude
