About the Role:
This is a unique position where we are seeking a highly skilled Head Chef to join our team at a scenic hotel in Lyme Regis. As a culinary expert, you'll focus solely on cooking, preparing, and presenting high-quality dishes for our restaurant and special events. Your creativity and passion for food will shine in our kitchen, where you'll have the freedom to craft exceptional culinary experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standard, ensuring consistency and quality
Develop and execute new recipes and menus, showcasing your culinary expertise
Collaborate with the hotel's management team on menu planning and food preparation
Maintain the highest standards of kitchen hygiene, safety, and cleanliness
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering results
Requirements:
Proven experience as a skilled chef, preferably in a high-end hotel or restaurant setting
Culinary qualifications or equivalent experience
Strong cooking skills, creativity, and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards
