This opportunity places you at the heart of a world-renowned yacht manufacturer, where precision, innovation and craftsmanship meet.As Financial Controller, you will report directly to the Managing Director and play a pivotal role in ensuring robust financial management, driving improvements in systems and controls, and supporting the leadership team in delivering accurate and insightful financial reporting. You will lead a small finance team while working closely with project teams to provide clear oversight of project performance.Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:

Preparing and delivering monthly management accounts, including reporting packs and processes
Leading the year-end process, liaising with auditors and managing adjustments
Implementing and improving financial controls, policies and procedures
Overseeing stock and inventory control and reporting
Managing and mentoring a finance team of three
Delivering project accounting and reporting on project performance with the MD

What you will need:

To be a qualified accountant CIMA / ACCA / ACA
Previous experience in a similar role, such as Financial Controller / Finance Director / Head of Finance / Finance Manager / Senior Project Accountant
The confidence to engage with and influence stakeholders in a hands-on environment
Ideally, marine industry exposure
An interest in sailing or yachting would be advantageous
