Job Title: Multi Skilled Technician

Contract Type: FTC

An industry leading Facilities Maintenance service provider is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their on-site engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and motivated individual to contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of a critical site.

Daily Technician duties will include:

  • Ensure that the various pre planned maintenance schedules are kept up to date and maintained as may be required
  • Complete the duties of an HVAC/Mechanical/Electrical Engineer
  • Carry out fault finding and defect rectification to items of installed plant and equipment as may be defined and specified
  • Escort contractors around the site as and when required in accordance with written procedures

Requirements for the role:

  • Qualification in an Electrical discipline (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in building services maintenance
  • Strong multi-skilled knowledge, able to work confidently on both electrical and mechanical systems
  • Competence in fault finding, planned maintenance, and compliance procedures
  • Familiarity with BMS systems and working within SLA/KPI-driven environments
  • Excellent communication skills and client-facing approach
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, including health & safety legislation
