In the role you will be joining a skilled team of shipwrights and apprentices, working on refit and repair projects for private yachts and commercial vessels. You will be responsible for structural composite and wooden repairs, interior and exterior fit-outs, installations, gelcoat finishing and general boatbuilding tasks, ensuring every project is completed to the highest standards of precision and quality.

This role would suit a Boatbuilder or a Multi Skilled Tradesperson with experience in composite and wooden boat repairs, looking for a new challenge in a close knit, family run business where you'll be valued, supported, and given the opportunity to train, progress, and develop into a supervisory role within a thriving industry.

The Role

  • Work on refit and repair projects for private yachts and commercial vessels
  • Carry out composite and wooden repairs, installations, fit-outs and finishing tasks
  • Interpret drawings and deliver high-quality craftsmanship to exacting standards

The Person

  • City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent
  • Knowledge of composite and wooden boat repairs, fit-outs and installations
  • Based in or near Lymington, UK driving license is preferred
