Site Manager

Salary up to 60,000 + Car Allowance + Pension + 25 Days Holiday

Blaymires Recruitment is representing a Chartered Building company based in the New Forest near Lymington, who is searching for a Site Manager to join the business.

The company has been running for over 20 years and undertakes high-end residential bespoke new builds, home renovations and commercial construction projects throughout the New Forest and surrounding areas, with projects ranging up to 4 million.

The company is growing and is looking for a driven, experienced Site Manager with high-end residential experience to join the business.

Responsibilities of the Site Manager:

  • Ensure the efficient running of the projects you are responsible for by effectively managing labour and internal resources with the support of the Contracts Manager.
  • Ensure that contracts are within full compliance of health and safety and environmental legislation.
  • Monitor progress against the works programme and agreed specification and manage the impact of additional work or delays.
  • Ensure the most effective and efficient use of resources on the contract and any subsequent recovery.
  • Manage the on-site aspects and influences on expenditure against allowances.
  • Ensure approval has been sought for any or all variations to the contracts as a whole and with sub-contractors.
  • Set targets and programmes in line with the overall requirements of the project for materials and resources.
  • Have excellent communication skills and be comfortable in liaising directly with clients.

Requirements of the Site Manager:

  • You will have high-end residential experience.
  • You will have managed projects from inception through to handover.
  • Site qualifications including CSCS Card, SMSTS, First Aid Ticket.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
