Supply Desk are seeking outreach support workers for shift work at a residential SEND school in the picturesque New Forest
Starting from June 2025
Hours: Full time
Pay: up to £13 per hour
Job Description:
- Desire to support children with additional needs with day to day activities
- No personal care required
- Supporting 10 children to socialise, do homework and organise their daily routines
- Be caring, empathetic, confident and firm
- Liaise closely with other support workers taking over shifts
- Full time role with the opportunity of a permanent contract (40 hours a week)
- Location: Lymington
- Start Date: June 2025
- Contract Length: Long Term – Potential to become permanent
- Hours: 40 hours per week (shift work) 2 weekends out of 4 will be working
Individual Profile:
- A nurturing and caring nature
- GCSE Maths and English to A- C grade
- Experience of working with additional needs (desirable)
- Passionate, enthusiastic and resilient individual
- Adaptable and sensitive when dealing with challenging situations
- First Aid trained or be willing to be trained
- Have access to your own car with a clean driving license
