Sonic Summary

We are seeking an experienced Planner with a strong background in development management projects to join our client's team.
Candidates should possess local government experience and have dealt with strategic site or major applications.
The role requires confidence in presenting complex applications at Planning Committees and addressing questions from Members.
Proactive engagement with applicants, agents, parish/town councils, and elected Members of the Council is essential.
This temporary position offers a salary of £XX, with a minimum requirement of 5 years of relevant experience.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Planner who has worked at a senior level on development management projects to join our Clients team to help them through a busy period.

We are looking for -

Local government experience;
Experience in dealing with strategic site/major applications;
confident in presenting complex applications at Planning Committee and answering Member questions;
The ability to engage proactively with applicants, agents, parish/town councils and elected Members of the Council;
Someone who can work using their initiative and at times work unsupported.

Temporary role expected to be a minimum of 2 months but quite likely longer
