Learning Support Assistants (x2) - SEN School - Lyndhurst

Location: Lyndhurst

Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Salary: 95 - 110 per day

We are currently recruiting two dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join a welcoming and inclusive SEN school in Lyndhurst. These are full-time, long-term roles supporting children with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and complex learning difficulties.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with diverse SEN needs
  • Assist in delivering tailored learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO
  • Support students with emotional regulation, communication, and social interaction
  • Help implement EHCP targets and behaviour support plans
  • Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
  • Assist with personal care and sensory needs where required


Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based or care settings)
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Relevant qualifications or training in SEN (desirable but not essential)
