Are you seeking a fulfilling opportunity to teach young people with special educational needs in a dynamic school environment? Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting dedicated Teachers to join a reputable SEN School in Lyndhurst, Hampshire.

The school is currently in search of qualified or unqualified Teachers to lead pupils ages 5-19 years old on the Autism Spectrum.

Having visited the school, I would highly recommend school and would personally consider this to be a lovely place to work.

Previous experience working with pupils on the autism spectrum is desired.

Contract Details:

  • Hours: 08:30 - 16:30 Monday and Tuesday, 08:30 - 16:00 Wednesday and Thursday and 08:30 - 15:00 on Fridays.
  • Full time or Part-Time
  • Working Weeks: 39 weeks per year (term-time only role).
  • Daily Rate: From £150 dependant on experience
  • Location: Lyndhurst, Hampshire (transport links available)
  • Contract: Temp-To-Perm

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging and stimulating lessons and be able to differentiate learning activities to meet the needs of individual pupils. You must be able to work collaboratively with other staff, carers and external agencies, to ensure that all pupils have the best possible educational experience.

Requirements:

  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS or a Degree / Level 5 or Equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a UK or SEN Setting/similar setting
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
  • SEN teaching experience (desired)

Eligibility:

  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate or willingness to undergo a new application.
  • Two professional references related to education or childcare.
