Reed/LTA are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join a Fylde based primary school for a maternity cover starting in September 2026. This role is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is looking to make a significant impact in the lives of children and work within a supportive school community.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the educational needs of children in Year 4.
  • Careful approach to teaching due to SEMH in the classroom.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adapting lessons to cater for varied learning abilities.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to plan and coordinate lessons and school activities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching at the primary level, preferably with Year 3.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to foster a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Commitment to professional development and learning.
