Paraplanner

Macclesfield / Hybrid (2 days home)

Salary up to £45,000

NJR Recruitment are delighted to be working with a National Wealth Management Firm, who is now seeking an experienced and talented Paraplanner to join their team based in Macclesfield. This is a truly fantastic opportunity that would suit someone wanting to join and further their career with a leading Financial Planning practice. As a Paraplanner, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining internal relationships, managing all client documentation, and producing quality financial planning reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce financial planning reports for consideration and signoff by advisers considering standards for suitability and quality.
  • Analyse client portfolios/products and other relevant information to prepare the above
  • Obtain illustrations and supporting documents as required to complete the advice file for presentation to the client.
  • Prepare cash flow analysis as required.
  • Provide accurate, technical research to ensure that the client file carries all required information to support the recommendations.
  • Liaise with the Compliance department as necessary throughout the advice process.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of company policies and procedures and ensure all client documentation is saved accordingly to the correct files.
  • Refer all client complaints and concerns promptly to your Manager, the Adviser and the Compliance Officer
  • Communicate with colleagues and product providers as needed.
  • Attend regular Paraplanning meetings to discuss ongoing work and ensure advice approach across the team is similar.
  • Maintain the workflow log including the addition of new work requests and updating of completed work.

Essentials :

  • A qualified Paraplanner (level 4 diploma) or working towards a level 4 would be considered.
  • Experience working within Wealth and Investment management would be desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft office.
  • The ideal candidate would in addition have knowledge of using Dynamic Planner, FE Analytics and Cash Calc (an advantage)
