The Production Administrator plays a key support role within the production and purchasing team, working closely with the team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of daily manufacturing operations. This role involves ensuring the system is up to date, coordinating production paperwork, managing documentation, and assisting in communication between departments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and issue manufacturing pick batches for production teams in a timely and accurate manner.
Raise and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for production and purchasing to track and resolve quality or process issues.
Monitor and respond to email requests from internal departments (Customer Service, Order Processing, Transport, Quality) to support production priorities.
Coordinate and fulfil next-day despatch requirements, ensuring all orders are ready for timely delivery.
Work alongside the Production Planner to schedule and update work orders as needed.
Ensure the system is up to date with any changes regarding orders, and maintain accurate records of production documentation
Assist in general administrative tasks to support smooth factory operations.
Support the Purchasing team with any administrative tasks

The ideal candidate will need to have the following skills:
- Previous administration skills and experience in a manufacturing , production or purchasing administration role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Competent in using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, outlook)
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Confident and clear communicator
- Ability to demonstrate high levels of resilience and flexibility in a dynamic environment

- Hourly Rate of Pay. We work Monday - Friday (40 hours per week).
