Were hiring for Warehouse Operatives with a in date FLT licence to join us at DoorCo Macclesfield as we continue to grow as the UKs largest supplier of composite doors.

Distribution is one of our key services and as a member of the team, your daily work will be essential to helping us provide the service our customers know and love.

A day in the life of a DoorCo Warehouse Operative with Fork lift Truck licence will include a range of tasks

including but not limited to:

  • Picking/Packing doors, glass, and cassettes for despatch & internal customers same day or next day delivery
  • Scanning and updating the Stockist Warehouse Management System
  • Quality checking items prior to despatch.
  • Receiving in goods and organising the Warehouse
  • Managing stock replenishment
  • Monitoring and investigating stock discrepancies
  • Maintaining an organised warehouse
  • Other ad-hoc duties required

Please note that full training will be offered to the right candidates and internal career progression opportunities as we continue to grow.

Working hours are over two shift patterns, between the hours of 06.00am 15.00pm and 09.00am 18.00pm.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A safety-first mentality and an understanding of health and safety requirements
  • Experience and a proven history of following SOPs
  • A desire to improve efficiency
  • A can do flexible attitude
  • Willingness to be assigned to other areas of the facility when required.
  • Attention to detail
  • Reliability, being able to show an excellent timekeeping and attendance record
  • FLT qualifications
  • Numerate, ability to work quickly accurately and pay attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Hands on commitment to getting the job done.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
