TeacherActive are proud to be working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Maesteg who are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable TA to join their team. This is a long-term position covering maternity leave, offering both full-time or part-time options for the right candidate.
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with the class teacher to support children’s learning and development across the curriculum. You’ll be assisting with classroom activities, providing 1:1 or small group support, and helping create a positive and engaging learning environment.
We are looking for someone who is:

Strong, proactive, and reliable, able to use their initiative in the classroom

Experienced in supporting children across Early Years or Key Stages 1 & 2

Passionate about helping every child reach their full potential

Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
