RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead Kitchen Operations: Plan, prepare, cook, and present Mediterranean cuisine to the highest standards, ensuring excellent food and service on every shift.

- Team Development: Recruit, train, and manage a motivated and skilled kitchen team, conducting regular performance reviews and fostering a guest-focused culture.

- Cost Management: Control portion sizes, monitor waste, manage food costs, and handle ordering of supplies to maintain budgetary targets.

- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations, maintaining documentation and training to achieve top ratings from health inspectors.

- Collaboration and Feedback: Work closely with the General Manager to enhance overall restaurant performance, actively seeking and providing feedback to continually improve service and team efficiency.

WHAT WE OFFER

- Salary of up to 50K per year ( depending on skill & experience)

- Annual service charge of up to 10K a year

- 5 days a week (including weekends)

- 10am to 3pm and 5pm to 10pm

REQUIREMENTS

- YOU MUST have proven experience in creating high-quality Mediterranean cuisine.

- YOU MUST have a strong ability to lead and develop a motivated and skilled kitchen team.

- YOU MUST have experience in managing food costs and minimizing waste within budget.

- YOU MUST have thorough understanding of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.

- YOU MUST have excellent communication abilities with team members, management, and guests.

- YOU MUST be skilled in resolving complaints and improving service through feedback.
