Housing provider in the Berkshire area are currently looking for a fire safety project manager to join their property services team.
You will oversee contracts, issue orders, manage progress meetings, and ensure timely completion of projects. You will handle remedial works and ensure compliancewith Building Control notifications, Construction Design & Management regulations, and planning requirements. Quality will be important to you and you will conduct sample inspections and address any non-compliance issues. Additionally, you will collaborate with colleagues to procure contractors and consultants for fire safety projects. Financial accountability is also a key aspect of this role, ensuring contracts offer value for money and managing project costs within approved budgets.
A good technical understanding of residential structures, along with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to produce clear reports.
