Our client looking for a reliable and detail-focused Call Centre Agent to join a customer support and claims handling team. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong data entry accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy contact centre environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately update and maintain customer files and claims records.

  • Enter new claim information into the internal database with high attention to detail.

  • Communicate with customers via phone and email to gather or provide information related to their claims.

  • Issue final claim settlements in line with contract terms and internal policy.

  • Arrange and track the collection of damaged items and delivery of repaired or replacement items through external suppliers.

  • Assess returned items to determine if repair or replacement is required.

  • Handle personal data in compliance with all data protection legislation.

  • Support managers with administrative or operational tasks as needed.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth operations.

  • Communicate with third-party suppliers to coordinate collections, repairs, and deliveries.

  • Handle customer concerns with professionalism, adapting communication style as needed.

  • Report any service delays or supplier issues to management promptly.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications - essential

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths - essential

  • Previous experience in a call centre, claims, or customer service environment - desirable

  • Strong attention to detail, especially when managing multiple tasks

  • Able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure

  • A team player with excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills
