On-site presence and knowledge of material handling systems are essential; a relevant technical qualification is preferred. Our client:Our client is a global leader in material handling and automation solutions, and they are growing their UK Airports team. They are looking for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to support the delivery of complex airport infrastructure projects and help strengthen their local electrical engineering expertise.  This role is ideal for someone who is methodical, detail-oriented, and passionate about quality engineering within a structured and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop low-voltage electrical systems and control installations
  • Conduct power and cable calculations, and create layout drawings
  • Collaborate with project leaders and multi-disciplinary teams to meet project objectives
  • Produce technical documentation for manufacturing, installation, and procurement
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal engineering procedures
  • Provide technical support during installation phases on-site
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in engineering processes and quality assurance
  About You:
  • Experience in designing electrical systems for industrial and low-voltage installations
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and EPLAN
  • Knowledge of industrial networks such as ProfiNet, ASi bus, and Profibus
  • Familiarity with technologies and equipment used in Material Handling Systems
  • A qualification in Electro-technology or Energy Technology (preferred)
