Community Safety Officer / Anti-Social Behaviour Officer

Our client based in the Maidenhead area is looking to recruit a Community Safety Officer to be responsible for providing an excellent front-line service managing and resolving cases of anti-social behaviour and domestic abuse. You will proactively reduce anti-social behaviour to create safer communities, sustain tenancies, and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for the below:
- Take a robust approach to tackling anti-social behaviour, enforcing tenancy terms and conditions, carrying out investigations, serving notices and taking court action where necessary.
- Proactively support victims of domestic abuse working with partnership agencies and actively engaging in and attending MARAC and other partnership forums.
- Proactively develop relationships and engage with local police, local and national enforcement agencies (e.g. immigration services) and local authority enforcement teams including environmental health and anti-social behaviour teams.
- Proactively assess and address anti-social behaviour using a range of tools including referrals for mediation, home visits, interviews, warning letters, acceptable behaviour contracts, injunction applications, possession proceedings and any other remedies that might become available from time to time.
- Keep accurate records of all steps taken to address anti-social behaviour and ensure accurate drafting of court documents, witness statements collating of witness bundles, exhibits and other paperwork to ensure the furtherance and progression of litigation.
