‘Outstanding ‘and 'Good' secondary schools in the Maidenhead area are seeking drama teachers for positions that guarantee work every day throughout the academic year.

Due to increased demands, we are actively recruiting for drama teachers from 1 to 5 days a week in the area of Maidenhead, Holyport, White Waltham and Cox Green.  This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, enthusiastic, and ready to step into the classroom at short notice, providing high-quality education and support to our students.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and educational lessons across various subjects in line with the national curriculum.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of the class.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Provide immediate feedback on student learning and progress.
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff and contribute to the school community.
  • Prepare and set tests, examination papers, and exercises.
  • Mark and provide appropriate feedback on oral and written work.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience in secondary education.
