Description
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
- Monitor and report on budget variances.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and manage petty cash.
- Support in the production of forecasts and budgets.
- Assist in the year-end audit process.
- Liaise with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting practices and legislation.
- Contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures.
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field.
- AAT / CIMA / ACCA Studier
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
