This position involves leading audit assignments, supporting junior colleagues, and maintaining regular interaction with a diverse portfolio of clients. You’ll enjoy a balance of audit and accountancy responsibilities.Key responsibilities in the Audit & Accounts Senior role include:
  • Organising, executing, and completing audits across a variety of client sectors.
  • Leading audit engagements, including managing timelines, budgets, and staffing.
  • Crafting audit approaches that reflect each client’s financial and operational context.
  • Overseeing and reviewing the work of audit juniors and trainees.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior staff through constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Upholding adherence to audit frameworks and delivering work to a high standard.
  • Acting as the principal point of contact for clients during audit assignments.
  • Strengthening client rapport and ensuring they are kept informed throughout.
  • Responding to client queries and providing guidance on intricate financial matters.
  • Highlighting key commercial or financial risks identified during reviews.
Candidate requirements:We’re seeking individuals who are either fully qualified or part-qualified (ACA or ACCA), with at least two years of audit experience. Experience in leading audits will be a significant advantage.
