TPF Recruitment, the leading provider of accountancy practice professionals in Kent, is currently assisting one of our clients in Maidstone with the recruitment of a Corporate Tax Director.

As a Corporate Tax Director, you will lead our corporate tax department and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to clients. Reporting directly to the partners, you will be responsible for providing strategic tax advice, managing client relationships, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of corporate clients.
  • Provide high-level tax advisory services and strategic guidance.

Tax Planning and Compliance:

  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimise clients' tax positions.
  • Review and advise on complex corporate tax matters, including M&A transactions and restructuring.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant tax legislation and regulations.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality tax services, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Promote a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Business Development:

  • Identify opportunities to expand our client base and grow revenue.
  • Participate in networking events and industry forums to enhance the firm's reputation and visibility.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and initiatives.
Requirements
  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified (or equivalent) with extensive experience in corporate tax.
  • Proven history of providing strategic tax advice and managing complex client engagements.
  • Strong technical expertise in UK corporate tax legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrable business development acumen with a proven track record of generating new business.
