I'm recruiting for a Content and PR executive to join a small but awesome team for a 12 month FTC. The role will be brilliant for someone with top notch written and story telling skills who has a passion for sustainability and the tech/electronics sector...and for the right person this role could go into a full time position, so what's not to love?

A bit about the role:

Content Creation:

  • Write diverse long and short form articles and content for webpages (product pages and landing pages) that adheres to SEO best practices improving visibility on search results and driving organic traffic.
  • Generate ideas and identify trends, opportunities and content gaps to deliver new topical and engaging pieces of content.
  • Maintain monthly content plan.
  • Edit, proofread and improve existing content keeping it up to date.
  • Collaborate with the team to produce bi-weekly podcast including planning, scripting and co-hosting.
  • Exercise content marketing and link building strategies to strengthen website’s backlink profile and online presence.
  • Plan content outreach and market created content to digital outlets for links acquisition.
  • Support proactive PR by identifying news hooks, crafting media pitches, and liasing with target journalists to gain coverage.
  • Track on-site content performance to identify required changes and new opportunities.
  • Keep an eye on the news agenda and relevant domains in the industry for content marketing opportunities.
  • Generate monthly report on content marketing performance.

What we need from you:

  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
  • Proven work experience in content marketing, copywriting and public relations.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO, keyword research and web analytics.
  • Solid understanding and experience using SEMrush, Ahrefs, GA4, GSC and CMS.
  • Ability to predict content trends with an editorial mindset.
  • Project management skills and attention to detail.

Some insight into the day:

  • 12-month contract (with the view to transition to full time for the right candidate), office-based position with working hours from 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday and an hour lunch break.
