Job Title: Laboratory Analyst
Location: Kent
Hours: Monday to Friday
Role Summary
This laboratory-based role involves supporting daily analytical operations, maintaining safety and hygiene standards, and contributing to product testing and method development. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate analysis, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing daily laboratory activities related to sample testing.
- Maintain safety documentation and uphold health and safety protocols.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the laboratory environment.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to support operational needs.
- Review test results and prepare reports for internal use.
- Investigate discrepancies and support corrective actions.
- Participate in customer-related testing activities.
- Conduct routine analysis to support product release.
- Contribute to the development and validation of testing methods.
- Troubleshoot analytical issues and support resolution efforts.
- Assist in drafting and maintaining procedural documentation.
- Support the day-to-day functioning of the laboratory.
- Participate in internal projects as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in a laboratory setting within a regulated industry.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Proficient in standard office software.
- Experience with advanced analytical techniques is beneficial.
- Scientific educational background is preferred but not essential.
- Flexible and collaborative approach to working in a small team environment.
