Location: Kent

Hours: Monday to Friday

Role Summary

This laboratory-based role involves supporting daily analytical operations, maintaining safety and hygiene standards, and contributing to product testing and method development. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate analysis, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing daily laboratory activities related to sample testing.
  • Maintain safety documentation and uphold health and safety protocols.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the laboratory environment.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to support operational needs.
  • Review test results and prepare reports for internal use.
  • Investigate discrepancies and support corrective actions.
  • Participate in customer-related testing activities.
  • Conduct routine analysis to support product release.
  • Contribute to the development and validation of testing methods.
  • Troubleshoot analytical issues and support resolution efforts.
  • Assist in drafting and maintaining procedural documentation.
  • Support the day-to-day functioning of the laboratory.
  • Participate in internal projects as needed.

Candidate Profile

  • Prior experience in a laboratory setting within a regulated industry.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Proficient in standard office software.
  • Experience with advanced analytical techniques is beneficial.
  • Scientific educational background is preferred but not essential.
  • Flexible and collaborative approach to working in a small team environment.
