Class 2 Driver

Maidstone

Up to £30,000 DOE + Overtime

Monday - Friday (40 hour working week)

Role Overview:

Our well-established client are looking to onboard a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join their already flourishing team!

You will be delivering a range of materials to various locations across the Southeast. As a driver you will be representing the company first hand, by being at the forefront of the business. Therefore, the successful candidate will need excellent customer service understanding, paired with the ability and competency on the driving and operating side. 

Responsibilities:

  • Operate the vehicle safely and effectively on the road as well as on site
  • Undertaking daily vehicle checks ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy
  • Maintain a successful delivery rate adhering to ETA's
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and complete necessary paperwork
  • Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and colleagues
  • Assist with ad-hoc duties within the yard when not loading or driving

Requirements:

  • Valid class 2 licence
  • Up to date CPC
  • Tachograph card
  • No more than 3 points
  • Flexible and reliable with a good attitude
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious
