About the role

We're working with a well-established European manufacturer and distributor of interior and exterior design materials. As their presence in the UK continues to grow, they're now looking to add a third Area Sales Representative to cover key areas in the South East. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated sales professional to take ownership of a region and build out a strong client base.

You'll focus on new business development while also supporting and growing relationships with existing customers across a broad network of retailers, distributors, wholesalers, and contractors.

Area Sales Representative Responsibilities:

  • Promoting a portfolio of products including façade claddings, decorative walls, flooring, and skirtings
  • Identifying and winning new business opportunities across your region
  • Maintaining and expanding relationships with current clients
  • Executing commercial strategies in line with wider trade and distribution plans
  • Managing your own pipeline across multiple sales channels (B2B and B2C)
  • Meeting sales targets and contributing to regional growth
  • Reporting back on market trends and customer insights

Area Sales Representative Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' sales experience in interiors, building materials, or a technical product environment
  • Proven success in new business development in a field sales role
  • Strong commercial acumen with confident negotiation skills
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own territory
  • Goal-driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • UK driving licence
  • English language proficiency (native or fluent)
