Are you an experienced Electrical Supervisor ready to lead teams and deliver innovative water solutions? Join Our Client to contribute to improving Southern Water's infrastructure across Kent.
About the Project:
Our Client is focused on maintaining and enhancing Southern Water's water supply and wastewater treatment works in the eastern half of its region. You will be working on various schemes in South East Kent, ensuring high standards and quality throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise site electrical installations and ensure SHE standards are maintained.
- Adhere to safe systems of work and deliver high-quality products in line with current standards and specifications.
- Attend site inductions and toolbox talks.
- As the Electrical Appointed Person, ensure electrical safety rules are followed and necessary documentation is produced.
- Conduct regular electrical safety inspections on both temporary and permanent equipment.
- Assist in compiling project takeover documentation.
- Oversee electrical testing in accordance with BS7671, reviewing test results against guidance note 3 and manufacturers' literature.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in water/wastewater sites (preferred).
- Proven track record supervising large teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent (HND/BTEC).
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
- FAAW (First Aid at Work).
- ECS card.
- C&G 2330 or 2360 in electrical installations.
- NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations.
- IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- 2391 Test and Inspect qualification.
