We are looking for a School Caretaker who is passionate about taking care of the school and community. This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, trustworthy, and ready to start immediately.
Day-to-day of the role:
�? Maintain the school site, ensuring all areas are safe and well-organised.
?? Set up the school daily to meet the needs of staff and students.
??? Manage and oversee contractors to ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
?? Conduct regular safety checks and maintenance tasks.
?? Work independently to manage tasks and responsibilities effectively.
?? Be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and taking action to enhance the school environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in school caretaking.
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods, suitable for a dynamic and physically active individual.
Trustworthy and reliable with a strong sense of responsibility.
Enhanced DBS check is required.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
Good communication skills to effectively deal with contractors and school staff.
