Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Building Safety Lead to work with one of our clients in Kent

What the job will be doing

  • Prepare, produce and implement key actions to ensure client complies with all relevant legislation and regulations in keeping customers safe in their homes in relation to building safety and fire safety.
  • Develop control methods to ensure key decision gateways are implemented throughout the life of buildings within clients’ housing stock on building safety and fire safety matters.
  • Be responsible for developing Building Safety Cases for clients housing stock and make evidence available for customers.
  • Ensure client fulfils it requirements in relation to this role informed by Social Housing (Regulations) Act
  • Ensure customers have a voice in reporting safety concerns and develop swift feedback method and capture records, improvements and lessons learnt.
  • Advise the Directors / Board on all important Building Safety and Fire Safety issues, inclusive of legislative matters, that affect property and construction business activities.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve technical and behavioural skills across operational teams relating to Building Safety.

What you will need

  • The NEBOSH Construction Certificate and Diploma (or equivalent) is required as a minimum.
  • Chartered Member of IOSH is preferable.
  • Building Safety Management qualification (Desirable)
