Role OverviewAs Health and Safety Manager, you’ll lead health and safety operations across a diverse and stimulating organisation. You’ll manage a small, dedicated team and serve as the subject matter expert, guiding senior leadership on compliance, strategy, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:

Leading the health and safety function across all divisions

Advising and influencing senior stakeholders on legal compliance and best practices

Designing and implementing innovative safety strategies and initiatives

Enhancing existing policies, systems, and audit processes

Acting as the primary liaison with external authorities and regulatory bodies
This role offers a mix of office, field, and homeworking days, with travel primarily within Kent.
What We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking a qualified and proactive Health and Safety professional who brings:

A NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma (or equivalent)

Proven experience developing and improving safety programmes and audits

The ability to apply expertise across a wide range of operational activities
