Contact Centre Agent
Location: Maidstone (Aylesford)
Salary: 28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm (30 minute lunch break)
Are you a confident communicator who enjoys building rapport and delivering exceptional customer service? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing automotive contact centre team at a well-established, privately owned multi franchise business representing several premium vehicle brands.
You will be responsible for liaising with new and existing customers regarding routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs. Your goal will be to convert these conversations into confirmed bookings through effective outbound prospecting, while also managing inbound service enquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact customers and prospects by telephone to secure service and maintenance bookings
- Handle inbound booking enquiries efficiently and professionally
- Maintain accurate records and call logs within the CRM system
- Promote products and services, identifying upselling opportunities aligned with customer needs
- Deliver follow-up calls to ensure excellent customer satisfaction
- Meet personal and team targets for call volume and booking conversions
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- Confident telephone manner with strong verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to achieve targets and maintain high service standards
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to adapt to different personalities
- Experience using CRM systems and managing databases
- Organised, self motivated, and able to prioritise effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and call centre applications
Desirable:
- Experience within the motor trade or a similar contact centre environment
- Knowledge of Pinewood Pinnacle DMS
