My client, a leading name in engineering services, is on the lookout for a Marketing and Sales Manager with strong analytical skills to join their rapidly growing team. This onsite role in Dartford is central to driving marketing strategy, managing SEO, and delivering data-led insights to boost sales performance. The ideal candidate will play a key part in shaping strategic decisions through smart, targeted marketing. Day-to-day of the role:

Marketing:

  • Plan and manage trade shows, client charity events, offsite days, and related follow-up.
  • Support the planning and delivery of CPD workshops.
  • Create and deliver marketing campaigns across the group to generate leads.
  • Manage LinkedIn activity, grow followers, oversee branding projects, newsletters, signage, and corporate gifts.
  • Lead internal communications, write award submissions, and deliver messaging around acquisitions.
  • Lead photography and video projects, ensuring consistent brand presentation.
  • Manage SEO, websites, Google Analytics, and monitor digital performance.
  • Produce and send internal and client newsletters to improve engagement.
  • Create and publish regular case studies by working with teams across the group.
  • Maintain all group websites with fresh content, videos, and team updates.

Sales Analysis:

  • Track quote volumes, values, and conversion rates across teams and service lines.
  • Flag stuck or unconverted quotes to enable timely follow-up.
  • Analyse reasons for lost work and identify trends by customer type, service, region, or pricing.
  • Identify upsell and repeat work opportunities within the existing client base.
  • Highlight cross-sell potential where customers are underutilising our services.
  • Monitor lead sources and track marketing ROI.
  • Provide regular reporting to the sales team, senior leadership team, and operational leads.
  • Support Customer Relationship Managers (CRMs) and Business Development Managers (BDMs) with pre-meeting insight and account trends.
  • Create and monitor reports on PowerBI and Pipedrive to support the wider team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales analysis and marketing management.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in using tools like PowerBI and Pipedrive.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in digital marketing, including SEO, content management, and social media.
