We are seeking a passionate and experienced Field Service Engineer. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining a range of commercial coffee machines. As the company enters a significant growth phase, this position offers an exciting opportunity to support the development of the Service Department. Key Responsibilities:

  • Install new commercial coffee machines and ensure they are set up correctly.
  • Repair and maintain commercial coffee machines as needed.
  • Boiler inspections
  • Diagnose and fix issues to minimize future breakdowns and identify potential risks.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of company products and machines.
  • Accurately log jobs and complete required paperwork using the online system.
  • Request and fit replacement parts when necessary, including processing warranty parts promptly.
  • Provide excellent service aligned with Caffeine’s values and brand standards.
  • Suggest ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Respond to customer inquiries politely and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the Service/Technical Manager to support business growth and improvement.
  • Follow all health and safety policies and standards.

Skills and Abilities

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a field-based commercial coffee Engineer’s Role
  • Experience of fixing a wide range of commercial coffee machines – including traditional espresso (Conti/Gaggia/Victoria Arduino/Simonelli), coffee brewers, hot water boilers (Bunn), bean to cup (Schaerer) machines and coffee grinders
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Competent using phones and laptop
  • Genuine passion and interest for coffee and commercials coffee equipment
  • Full UK Driving license
  • PSSR Training preferred
