Remote Bid Manager | Public Sector & Education Focus | £50,000 Salary

Kathryn Rose Consultancy is proud to partner with one of the UK’s largest and most successful suppliers to the Education and Public Sector across the South East. This organisation is a dynamic, high-growth entity (part of a large, well-established group) and is seeking an accomplished Bid Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a fully remote role and drive major public sector contracts from your home office.

The Role: End-to-End Bid Management

As Bid Manager, you will be responsible for the full bid lifecycle, managing all stages from initial qualification and strategy development through to final submission and presentation.

  • Salary: Circa £50,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience).
  • Location: 100% Remote (UK based).
  • Sector Focus: Exclusive focus on bids within the Education and Public Sector space.
  • Service Portfolio: Primarily responsible for writing and managing tenders for Recruitment Services, Education Resources, and other essential Public Sector support services.

Key Requirements & Candidate Profile

Our client is seeking a proactive and highly organised professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and meets the following criteria:

  • Public Sector Expertise is Essential: Must have recent, demonstrable experience in managing high-value Public Sector bids and frameworks.
  • Full Lifecycle Ownership: Proven experience managing the bid process end-to-end, including risk management, compliance checking, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Commercial Acumen: Ability to translate complex service offerings (especially in recruitment and education) into compelling, commercially sound written proposals.
  • Consultancy Background (Highly Beneficial): Experience gained within a consultancy or agency environment is a significant advantage, demonstrating an ability to pivot quickly across diverse tender requirements and project types.
  • Self-Starter: Given the remote nature of the role, you must be a disciplined, self-motivated individual capable of managing tight deadlines and complex workflows independently.
