Part-Time Finance Manager (SME Environment)Location:Â MaidstoneHours:Â 3 days per week with a view to increasing to 4 days per week
Are you a hands-on finance professional looking for a flexible, impactful role in a growing business? My client is a growing SME with big ambitions and even bigger ideas—and they need a sharp, savvy Finance Manager to help them stay smart with their numbers, take ownership of their finance function and support strategic decision-making as they scale.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing day-to-day financial operations (invoicing, purchase ledger, cash flow, bank reconciliation)
- Preparing monthly management accounts and reports
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Liaising with external accountants and advisors
- Implementing and improving financial systems and processes
- Advising the leadership team on financial strategy and performance
What Their Looking For:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE with relevant SME experience
- Strong grasp of financial reporting, compliance, and cash management
- Proficiency with Sage
- A self-starter who thrives in a small team and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves
- Excellent communication and commercial acumen
