Are you an experienced Finance Business Partner looking for an exciting interim opportunity in the Social Housing sector? Do you have a strong background in both management reporting and business partnering? Are you ready to drive the development of a modern Business Partnering model in a dynamic housing provider?

My client, a Registered Provider of Social Housing in Kent, is seeking an Interim Finance Business Partner for a 6-month contract. In this role, you will take the lead in two key areas: firstly, overseeing reporting and business partnering for several central services directorates; secondly, driving the transformation towards a modern business partnering model, presenting financial information in a way that is meaningful and impactful to the wider business. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading on financial reporting and business partnering for central services directorates.
  • Driving the transition towards a modern, impactful Business Partnering model.
  • Presenting financial information to the wider business, establishing processes and best practices.
  • Demonstrating what “good” looks like in a modern Business Partnering function.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical reporting with stakeholder engagement, as well as leading the way in a transformation process. The role offers the chance to shape the business partnering function and demonstrate its value to the wider organisation.

The role is based in Kent, with the flexibility to work remotely, and requires 1-2 days per week in the office.

To be considered, please meet the following criteria:

  • Full accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience within the Social Housing sector.
  • Proven ability to lead on financial reporting and business partnering, with a focus on process improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
