A highly respected Chartered independent wealth planning firm with a strong presence across Kent is seeking two experienced Financial Planners to join their award-winning team. The firm manages over £500 million in client assets, providing whole-of-market advice to a diverse client base, including HNW individuals, retirees, business owners, and families across Kent, Sussex, and London.

Having already placed seven professionals with this business, I can personally vouch for their outstanding culture, client-first ethos, and commitment to professional growth. The firm has built a reputation for long-term client relationships, some spanning over 20 years, and they continue to receive steady referrals from trusted solicitor and accountancy partners.

These new roles have been created as part of succession planning, with the incoming advisers set to take over an established client book from retiring advisers. However, this isn't a purely servicing role — the business is also looking for dynamic individuals who are proactive in building new relationships, attending networking events, and expanding the firm’s local footprint.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing a portfolio of existing clients with assets ranging from £150k to £20m
  • Delivering advice on pensions, investments, retirement planning, tax planning, cashflow modelling, protection, and specialist solutions (including VCTs and EIS)
  • Building new client relationships through business development, networking, and local events
  • Collaborating with a dedicated and experienced team of paraplanners and administrators

What They’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in an independent financial advice or wealth planning firm
  • Chartered Financial Planner status (or actively working towards it)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to help clients achieve their goals
  • A proactive, relationship-focused approach to growing your client base

If you're looking to join a values-led, award-winning firm where clients come before sales targets — and where you'll receive full support to thrive professionally — this could be a perfect fit.
