Ready to take control of a fast-moving dispatch operation supplying the UK's top supermarkets?
We're looking for a hands-on Transport & Dispatch Coordinator to lead the daily outbound logistics from a high-volume fresh food site. You'll be the go-to person between senior operations and the dispatch/admin team, keeping everything running like clockwork.
What You'll Be Doing:-
Oversee transport and dispatch from a 7-day operational packhouse

Liaise with hauliers (GIST, Fresh Linc) to coordinate timely deliveries

Support and develop a busy admin team (without direct line management)

Manage rotas, cover, and stock of packed product

Ensure compliance, efficiency, and customer service levels are met

Be part of daily planning meetings and drive continuous improvements

Experience in Fresh Produce, FMCG, or Logistics/3PL

Solid background in transport planning, logistics coordination or senior dispatch admin

Proactive mindset and ability to manage a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Great communicator who thrives in cross-functional teams

£35k-£40k salary

23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (BHs flexible)

Full-time Mon-Fri hours with occasional weekend support
