I can also confirm that we have an exceptional track record of placing ECTs in their 1st or 2nd assignments and very often in permanent roles.Historically, the cover requirements in the Kent area tend to be very high, whether that be on a day-to-day supply basis or on a long-term basis to cover sickness/maternity etc. This can prove to be a great opportunity for ECTs to gain experience, get paid and find the type of school that they wish to work in.We are consistently getting a high demand for all subject areas, including Maths, English, Science, PE, Music, DT, Languages, Humanities, Music and more…We can also ensure that we are offering consistent, paid work to our teachers!We have many existing relationships and partnerships with schools in the Hastings area and the need to support our schools will once again be greater than ever.Hays are looking for ECTs who are willing to work on a flexible basis; this opportunity would be perfect for anybody who wants to gain valuable experience in preparation for the next academic year or is looking to pick up an extra day of supply when they can. To register as a teacher, you must meet the core criteria below. A minimum of 2 months' teaching experience in the past 4 years (this can include university placements), you have the right to work in the UK, and you must have a PGCE, QTS or QTLS. If you don't have a PGCE, QTS, QTLS or recent teaching experience, you can register as a Teaching Assistant or cover supervisor, provided you have worked with children for 1 month in the past 4 years.We welcome applicants who are currently working for other agencies.What you'll get in returnAs a Hays Supply Teacher, you will receive a generous rate of pay (dependent on experience).
