Job Description :

REC Source is recruiting experienced and flexible HGV Class 1 Drivers for general haulage and store delivery operations.

This role includestail lift deliveries, curtain-sided work, multidrop responsibilities, and occasionalmanual handling.

Drivers should be open tonights outand willing to assist withlower-classvehicles when operationally required.

Key Responsibilities :

OperateHGVClass 1 vehiclesfor general and retail deliveries across the UK.
Completemanifests and delivery notesaccurately.
Conductpre- and post-shift vehicle checks, including tail lift inspection.
Carry outmultidrop work, including someLondon routes(up to 10 drops).
Be available forovernight stays, especially when covering spare shifts.
Ensure dailytacho card downloadsat the start and end of each shift.

Requirements :

Licence:Full UK Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
Experience:Minimum 12 months experience driving Class 1 vehicles.
Points:Maximum of 6 penalty points; no major endorsements accepted. (E.g. DR,IN,CU)
PPE:Safety boots, gloves, and hi-vis vest required.
PAYE only

Role-Specific Requirements:

Must be open to drivingHGV Class 2 or 7.5tonne vehiclesif needed (while paid asHGV Class 1).
Capable of completing long-distance hauls and high-volume delivery runs.
Maintains a neat appearance and professional approach at all times.
Available for weekend work and flexible with shifts and location demands.

Monday to Friday Day= £16.50 per hour
Monday to Friday Night= £17.00 per hour
