Are you a qualified and driven Health & Safety professional looking to make a real impact across critical public sector contracts? We're looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join our Central Services team, working across projects in Healthcare, Education, Transportation, and Local Government.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

As our Health and Safety Advisor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring full compliance with HSE legislation and best practices. You'll:

  • Oversee all HSE requirements across a variety of construction-related contracts

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations

  • Produce detailed reports and recommend/implement remedial actions where required

  • Ensure contractor employees, sub-contractors, and suppliers adhere to HSE requirements

  • Monitor site housekeeping standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Review and develop risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work

  • Provide and review COSHH assessments as required

  • Support the supply chain with effective HSE documentation and verification

  • Ensure proper use and compliance of PPE across all operations

Profile

What We're Looking For:
  • NEBOSH or IOSH qualified (essential)

  • Experience within a construction or facilities management environment

  • Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and practical application across diverse sites

  • Proactive mindset with excellent communication and reporting skills

  • Ability to work independently across multiple contracts
