Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step?
We're recruiting on behalf of an inclusive and forward-thinking SEN school seeking a Higher learning Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to provide advanced classroom support, lead small group learning, and deliver interventions across the school.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a dedicated SEN team and make a genuine impact in the lives of children with complex needs.

The Role:

As a SEN HLTA, you will:

  • Lead planned learning activities across KS1/KS2/KS3/KS4 (specify depending on school).
  • Support and implement individual education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and the SENCO.
  • Deliver targeted interventions and differentiated learning to children with a range of needs including ASD, SEMH, MLD, and communication difficulties.
  • Mentor and support other TAs in best practice.
  • Contribute to assessment and progress reporting for students with EHCPs.

What We're Looking For:

We'd love to hear from candidates who have:

  • HLTA status or equivalent Level 4 qualification.
  • Proven experience supporting children with SEN in a classroom setting.
  • Strong leadership, initiative and behaviour management skills.
  • A calm, resilient and nurturing approach to education.

Experience delivering structured learning or running small group sessions independently is essential.
