HR Manager - Maternity Cover Fixed Term - 12 months, immediate start.

Are you an experienced HR professional ready to take the lead in a busy and rewarding environment? We're looking for a skilled HR Manager to cover a 12-month maternity contract, supporting a dedicated workforce and driving forward key HR initiatives. You must be within a commutable distance to the Medway area.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the HR function, supporting staff across multiple sites.
  • Oversee employee relations, organisational change, and performance management.
  • Take the lead on TUPE processes, ensuring legal compliance and smooth transitions.
  • Drive forward the organisation's approach to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, embedding inclusive practices at every level.
  • Develop and support a culture of learning, growth and high performance.
  • Manage internal health and safety responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Ideally CIPD qualification Level 7 or equivalent significant HR experience.
  • Strong experience with TUPE, including negotiation and implementation.
  • Experience in leading high performing teams and delivering people focused solutions.
  • A solid understanding and commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to advise at all levels.
