ERP Project Manager for a 12-month FTC up to £85k + benefits Based in Maidstone or Spalding – 3 days on-site across both locationsThis is a hands-on "hardcore" ERP Project Manager role looking for someone with significant ERP implementation and business change experience who can own, influence, and shape a successful rollout across 2 Retail supply businesses.To reiterate, we are looking for a "Hardcore" ERP Project Manager who has lived and breathed challenging implementations across a multi-site and fast-moving environment with internal and external teams.We need someone with real gravitas and conviction to drive this ERP Implementation home in a fast-paced and passionate environment.The ideal ERP Project Manager will have a lot of experience across a selection of ERP's especially non-Microsoft ERP solutions, and has worked with third parties and internal teams that may not always come from the same starting point but who can get them aligned and working towards the same end goal.You need to be able to take full ownership and have the ability to manage upwards, too.ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking an ERP Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new ERP solution into our Retail Division. The role is to manage full project delivery, ensuring that timelines, costs, and scope are closely monitored & adhered to. They will be responsible for managing the interaction with business management, third parties, and the wider internal IT organization through all stages of the project from design to implementation, ensuring full business readiness and solution adoption, whilst ensuring that all dependencies are managed and any risks around delivery are correctly addressed.   The successful candidate will have the ability to meet aggressive project milestones, be self-motivated with a combination of people skills, technical ability, fast thinking with an eagerness to learn and drive to exceed customer satisfaction standards.  They will also possess a strong, professional work ethic and great team management skills.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Project Manager will lead the implementation of a new ERP into our Retail Division ensuring that a high-quality business solution is delivered on-time and on-budget. The key responsibilities include:   Project management
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of project plans and co-ordination of project resources
  • Manage the overall project delivery plan, including internal and partner deliverables, ensuring visibility of progress and key risks to all stakeholders
  • Manage workstreams & robust collaboration between the third party, business & technical teams
  • Track progress against the plan. Identify, manage, and propose mitigations to project risks and issues using risk and RAID logs
  • Closely manage scope to ensure project delivers against its goals and appropriate change controls are put in place for the project to ensure that the required approvals are in place
  • Making timely, effective decisions at the project level and communicating those decisions both up and down the program structure, while approaching needed decisions in a logical and thoughtful manner, weighing conflicting information where necessary
  • Produce weekly tracker on progress vs. plan, including developing ‘Get to Green’ plans where necessary
  • Develop and maintain an effective status management process and regularly report progress to the Stakeholders, including the presentation of project status updates in Dole Group Steering Meetings
  • Create and maintain project documentation, manuals, and procedures
  Team leadership
  • Chair the weekly PMO meeting with the vendor and workstream leads 
  • Lead the internal project team and be the key escalation point between the internal project team and the vendor
  • Be an escalation point for resolving project and program issues
  • Ability to assess and guide staffing decisions 
 Quality assurance
  • Responsible for ensuring the quality of the deliverables from the vendor including that all solutions are thoroughly tested
  • Define robust processes for user acceptance testing, ensuring full business approval prior to go-live
  Release Management
  • During application implementation, provide project management for data migration and conversion services, on-site support, documentation, and training
  • Develop and execute the system cutover planning
  • Ensure releases of software are planned and executed in line with the business / project demands.  
 Collaboration
  • Work collaboratively with the Business and IT Teams to ensure all goals are aligned and that there is full visibility of project progress, dependencies and risks to all stakeholders 
EXPERIENCE
  • 10+ Years of demonstrable experience implementing ERP systems, ideally in a Fresh Produce / FMCG environment 
  • Experience managing complex projects with various interdependencies 
  • Significant prior experience in addressing both the business and IT activities associated with an ERP project, including: 
  • Ø Test plan development
  • Ø Business and system implementation planning and execution
  • Ø Organizational Change Management and readiness experience
  • Strong communication skills, enabling alignment with both internal and external stakeholder
  • Experience with software solutions tailored for B2B environments, ranging from small businesses to enterprise customers
